When to declare?

In any case the form must be presented before the completion of the money movement.

What must be declared?

The movements of cash, bearer cheques and/or any other physical means, prepaid cards and raw materials used as highly liquid stores of value, such as gold (these means of payment being regulated under Article 34.3 of Law 10/2010 of 28 April), must be declared when entering or leaving the national territory with an amount equal to or greater than TEN THOUSAND EUROS (€10,000) or its equivalent in foreign currency. It is also mandatory to declare cash movements carried out within our country for an amount equal to or greater than ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND EUROS (€100,000) or its equivalent in foreign currency.

Monetary amounts requiring declaration

For movements entering of leaving Spain of amounts greater than or equal to TEN THOUSAND EUROS (€ 10.000).
 

For movements inside Spain of amounts greater than or equal to ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND EUROS (€ 100,000).

 

Who has the obligation to declare?

The individual carrying the funds must present the declaration, whether he acts by himself o by third parties.
